“Love is a game of tic-tac-toe, constantly waiting for the next x or o.” –
Lang Leav

I had the idea of making an outdoor tic-tac-toe because of my hoarding ways when it comes to possible crafting supplies or ideas. I didn’t want my pineapple cutting board any longer, but I couldn’t just toss it. So, with the help of Pinterest, I came up with this!
DIY Outdoor Tic-Tac-Toe
What you need:
- Wooden cutting board
- 10 rocks
- Pencil
- Paint pens
- Rust-oleum clear all surface spray (dead flat)
- Ruler (or any straight edge)
- Container for the rocks, if used
On your cutting board, create the 3×3 grid using a ruler and your pencil. (Be sure the rocks you picked out will fit in each square.) Go over your pencil marks with a paint pen. Then, on your rocks, pencil 5 “x” marks and 5 “o” marks. Go over with a paint pen. Let dry. Spray your board and rocks with 1 coat of the Rust-Oleum clear all surface spray. Let dry.
Now, you can place your rocks in a container suitable for outside and play a game of tic-tac-toe with a friend, or simply show off your DIY as cute decor!
